Woman tried to frame hubby, A woman tried to frame her hubby in a child porn case in Pennsylvania. On Dec. 23, AZCentral reported that 42-year-old Meri Jane Woods tried to frame her husband by turning him in to authorities, telling them that he sexually abused children and put pornographic photos of children on their home computer. Come to find out, the woman was the one at fault. After an investigation, Woods was arrested -- which must have been quite a surprise to her.
"Troopers from Indiana, Pa. say she started the investigation when she came to their barracks on Aug. 14 to report her husband sexually abused children and put images of same on their home computer. Police investigated and determined the images were put on the computer Aug. 11 but that Woods’ husband left the residence July 23," reports AZCentral.
The woman tried to frame her hubby likely in an effort to keep herself out of trouble but her plan backfired. It's unknown if the woman was trying to get her husband back for something (the report says her husband is "estranged") or if she was actually into child porn and she was the one that was sexually abusing children.
It sounds like this was a setup and that the woman was trying to get her husband in trouble, perhaps because the couple was going through a rough time or getting a divorce -- but that is all speculation.
