Snoopy flash mob, A Snoopy flash mob landed in NYC and it recreated the Snoopy Christmas special. It went over big with New Yorkers who just love what the city offers at the holidays. A scene from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” brought smiles to the faces of New Yorkers and folks visiting the Big Apple this weekend who happened upon the flash mob’s dancing, according to UPI.com on Dec. 21.
This Snoopy flash mob came in full costumes including Schroeder with his miniature piano and Linus with that blanket that he goes nowhere with. The mob did crazy moves to the music that multiple generations grew up with and they put the Christmas spirit in the air.
The Snoopy flash mob was orchestrated over the social networks and instead of doing a dance to a hit song, as past flash mobs have done, they used the Peanuts song from “It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas.” Snoopy was the highlight of the event doing a “Beagle Boogie.”
Flash mobs in general have been getting a bad rap lately with criminals creating flash mobs for robbing stores, like the shoplifting flash mobs seen recently across the country. Folks visiting NYC got a treat with this flash mob, they got to see the NYC at their finest.
