Marine dies trip Ellen
Marine dies trip Ellen, A U.S. Marine died on Saturday in a skydiving accident while on a trip that his wife won from Ellen Degeneres, according to reports.

Brandon McGraw, 33, of Hampstead, N.C., died after a flawless descent in Euroa, Australia, on a vacation that Cherilyn McGraw, his wife, won in a competition on The Ellen Degeneres Show in January.

“Brandon McGraw watched his wife do a tandem jump before exiting the plane,” Ian Matthews, an employee of Euroa Skydive, told The Daily News. “He floated for three or four minutes with a good canopy. A short time before landing, he suddenly began turning his parachute dramatically to the left and right and eventually crashed into the ground.”

Brandon, who was an experienced skydiver, went into cardiac arrest after the fall, according to the New York Daily News.

McGraw, a Marine, had served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. His wife had won a six-day trip for two to Sydney, Australia, by competing on the “Stuff Your Down Under Pants” contest on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Jan. 16.

Cherilyn McGraw posted a photo of Brandon smiling in a plane, moments before taking his fatal leap, to her Facebook account. “He was happy and doing what he loved,” she wrote alongside the photo. “It’s amazing all that photos can capture in a moment’s time.”
